99 Residence Patong

Patong Beach is 550 m from the hotel, and in the evening the streets behind it fill with bars and street stalls. Phuket International Airport is 25.2 km away, and Patong is reached from it by road. The area suits visitors who want to combine the beach, shopping and evenings out.

Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall with shops and restaurants, is a short distance from the hotel, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs that gives Patong much of its nightlife, is 1,000 m away. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's most important Buddhist temples, is 6.2 km from the hotel, and the Big Buddha Phuket, a large statue on a hilltop, is 6.7 km away.

A good day out is to visit Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha in the morning, then continue to Karon Beach for a swim and lunch by the sand. Back in Patong, the night markets and the bars of Bangla Road offer a very different side of the island. Sunset is a good time to walk the beach road, which is lined with restaurants and street stalls.
