Amon Phan market is 300 m away for everyday shopping, and Saan Phra Phuum, a local temple, is 350 m away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 5.3 km away, is the area's best-known attraction.

Make a day of the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends and sells clothes, food and crafts, then take the BTS back to the apartment. If you fly out of Don Mueang, the airport is the closer of Bangkok's two, at 8.7 km, so the trip to it is shorter than the trip to Suvarnabhumi.
