Outdoor pursuits in the area include jungle trekking and bird watching. The park's marked trail stations, such as Station 3 - Big Tree, lie along the forest paths. Wat Tham Wararam, a pagoda, stands 850 m away in the same forest setting, and Ban Saphan Tao, a small hamlet, is 200 m off. Khao Sok National Park is 12.4 km away, a large rainforest park with limestone karst and lakes, and Ratchaprapha Dam, with Cheow Lan Lake behind it, is 17.8 km away.
