Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside shopping complex, is 1.9 km away.

Taksin Pier, 800 m away, has boats along the river, and from the water the Grand Palace is reached on the eastern bank, about 3.5 km from the building. A good day combines a morning among the Thonburi temples with an afternoon on the other bank, and evening walks by the river give a view of the palaces' lights across the water.
