Phuket is the largest island in Thailand, and the south offers a different pace from the resort strips on the west coast. Phuket International Airport is the nearest airport, and because the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, the villa is reached by road, with an airport transfer that can be arranged.

A day could start at Chalong Beach and continue to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, before a stop at Kata or Nai Harn beach in the afternoon. The pier at Chalong is close by for anyone who wants to plan boat trips around the bay.
