Visitors who want the sea close at hand, away from the crowds of the busier resort beaches, will find it calm.

Nai Harn Beach, a calm bay 3.7 km away, is one of the quieter beaches on the island, and the large white Big Buddha statue on the hill above the coast is 3.8 km from the villa. Wat Chalong, one of Phuket's most revered temples, is 5.4 km away, and Rawai Pier is the departure point for boat trips to the islands nearby. Chalong Beach and the Rawai fish market are close by too.

A good day could begin at the Rawai fish market, then take a boat trip from the pier, or head to Nai Harn for a swim before going up to the Big Buddha later on. Phuket International Airport is 34.8 km from the villa, and the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so the trip from the airport is made by road.
