Asiatique - The Riverfront, 3 km away, is a riverside shopping and dining complex with a night market, while the Grand Palace, 5.1 km away, sits in the old city with Wat Arun across the river.

A good day could begin at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun and end at Asiatique - The Riverfront by the water. Evening is a good time to walk along the river around Asiatique, where the night market is, and the riverside is quieter than the streets of the business district.
