14 Resort

Accommodation at 14 Resort includes a 64 m² Suite, a 30 m² Deluxe Room with a balcony or terrace and a 32 m² Deluxe Double with a beach view, alongside several 32 m² rooms with a queen bed, a double bed or two single beds.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The 2 Twin has a city view and the Deluxe Double a beach view, several rooms are air-conditioned, and some include a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. A few rooms sleep up to three guests. Balconies or terraces appear in the Deluxe Room and in one of the queen bed rooms, so guests who want outdoor space have a choice of rooms.

Dining at 14 Resort includes a restaurant, a coffee shop, a kitchen and 24-hour room service, and a vending machine is also on site. Breakfast is available à la carte. A shared lounge with a TV area and a garden give guests common space, and there are shops on the property.

14 Resort is on Petkasem Road in the Bangwaa area of South Thonburi, on the west bank of the Chao Phraya river. It is a residential district of temples, local markets and quieter streets, with a different pace from the central Bangkok streets across the river. The Phasi Charoen MRT station is 300 m from the property. Staying here means a quieter base, with the riverside sights a longer trip away.

The sights of the old city take a longer trip. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 7.1 km away on the river's west bank, and The Grand Palace, on the opposite bank, is 7.7 km. Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, is 7.7 km away too. Closer to home, the Wat Chan Pradittharam pagoda and the Win Win Plaza market are local options, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 34.4 km away.

A full day could begin at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, followed by Wat Arun in the afternoon and an evening at Asiatique. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a separate outing across the city, so it makes sense to plan it for a day of its own and keep the old city sights for the rest of the trip.
