Huai Khwang MRT Station is 150 m away, the closest train link to the apartment, and Sutthisan MRT Station is also in the area. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, 3.6 km away, is one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, with thousands of stalls selling clothes, plants, food and crafts. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam area, is among the city's best-known malls, and Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum with Thai art, is also in the central area.

Temples are the other main draw: the Grand Palace is 9.5 km away, and Wat Arun, on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, is 10 km away. Evenings can be spent at The Street Ratchada night market, which is nearby, or at the Ganesha shrine at the Huai Khwang intersection. A good day could start at the Chatuchak market in the morning and end at the night market.
